Alot of people are asking this question....
What jet size do i need ?
If you just buy a pipe , you 'll need a BIGGER jet for your carb.
I suggest you to start at 280 and then if you need bigger try a 310.
How can i know if its a good size or not?
To know the size you need to try one and check your plug , if its white you'll need a bigger ...if its black you'll need a smaller.... the plug need to be a nice Golden Brown
If you have some serious engine modification , like a Big Bore kit with port and polish and V-force a good pipe and things like that .... i suggest to try something like 350-360-370 Right now im running a 370 on my blaster because i have a 240 bug bore kit with port and polish v-force pipe and more ....

???i have a CT pipe and silencer, v-force delta 2 reeds, and a K&N w/ outerwear can some1 help me with a jet size please. How do i change the jet size please explain and show pics if any1 has them thanks

i would start at 280 and its very easy you need to open the carb and then you'll see the Jet , just put it off and put the new one . its very simple ! i dont have pics but i promess you its very simple and you'll be able to do it yourself.

you cant jet your quad based on how other people jetted theres, you can take what they did into consideration and use that as a starting point but weather altitude all changes how the quad needs to be jetted.

hi, i think this is a great post. but i have a question. i bought a blaster thats been sitting for 4 years. i have seen it run. its a monster but im not sure about motor work done to it. it was a work in progress when the guy moved and had it stored. well anyway. from what i know the head has had alot of work done to it like porting and stuff. well its either been bored .40 over or it has a big bore kit. not sure wich. has stock exhaust, had stock reeds but i replaced with boyesen power reeds, then i took off the air box and put a filter right onto the carb. well i am rebuilding the carb. in the rebuild kit i got a 230 jet, i pulled out a 330. well since i put the reeds and the filter i drilled it out a little tiny bit. probably to a 340. is this too big? thanks alot!
