The FIRST thing you need to buy is nerf-bars. I suggest AC standard nerfs.
The second thing you should get is an air-filter. I prefer UNI.
The third thing you should get is back tires. If your going to race get 18" Maxxis RAZRs but if all your going to do is trail-ride then i would get 20" Maxxis RAZRs. ITP Holeshots are also a good brand of tire.
The fourth thing you should get is an extended axle. I suggest the LSR Axcalibar.
The fifth thing you should get is the PB Phantom exhaust.
You can go a lot of different ways from there. Shocks, a-arms, motor work, swingarm, etc.

I think this is the best order.... Tires/Rims Pipe and filter (Get them at the same time so you get the full benefit of the aftermarket exhaust AND intake.) Handlebars Nerf Bars Kill Switch Then whatever else comes to mind....

ight thanxs yall but na im not gonna be racin at any tracks but i will be racin friends and ridin trails and shit but thanxs for yalls help If you ride alot of trails and if you will be racing some friends in them i would keep the stock heel guards, or I wouldnt have nerfs on the top of my list, alot of gncc riders dont use nerf bars, but then again you arent really going to tracks to race, but its just a suggestion.

Well, i know you said it's an 01' Blaster in "mint" condition but if it has been used since 01 it would be a good idea to get an oil-injection block-off kit. You will have to pre-mix but it's better then having the oil-injector fail on you and screw something up BIG TIME. I think it's around $30 for one. No matter what you do, race or trail-ride, get nerf-bars first. The stock pegs do not grip well at all and that makes it very easy for your feet to slip off and hit/get caught in something. Check out the AC standard nerf-bars. I myself know 2 people that have broken an ankle because they did not have nerf-bars. AC nerfs are about $140. The next best thing to get is an air-filter because the stock one is very restictive and does not do a good job of keeping stuff out. UNI is one of the best foam filters for all around riding. A UNI filter is about $24. The stock tires on the rear of the Blaster are just completely garbage. They aren't good for anything besides snow if the tires you buy cannot get you through it. You said your mostly trail-riding so i would go for some 20" Maxxis RAZR's in the rear. You don't have to worry about front tires too much but if you want to have even better traction you could get front ones too. I guess it would be best to get 21" RAZR's and they should be about the same price. The only reason i say RAZR's is because i have them and they perform very well. My RAZR's where $120 for both ($60 each). The next upgrade can be debated. You can either get an exhaust system or extended (adjustable) axle. When i got my tires i still had the stock axle and i could STILL tip my Blaster even though the tires help. When i turned i felt i couldn't go fast or my Blaster would roll. Now think about it... if your quad is not stable enough to handle more power then it already has... why put more into it? You can have all the power in the world but if you can't control with it what do you do with it? The safe move is to get an axle. I have an LSR Axcalibar and it's awesome. It does cost more then $350 (some axles like the G-Force only cost $200 but there has been no reviews [to my knowledge] on how they perform and handle yet so it would be taking a risk to go for the cheaper axles) but it's well worth the money. It makes the quad handle SO much better and i haven't come close once yet to rolling it. It also looks good too. The next upgrade... should be an exhaust. I suggest Project Blasters Phantom exhaust system because it's had great things said about it. In fact, i don't think i've seen anyone say anything negative about it. An exhaust is a major upgrade that costs around $290. Some pipes can cost up to $350. The Phantom should help your Blaster perfom better in ALL areas. It also looks very good and comes in a variety of colors/styles to match your Blaster. After all of that i would go for shocks. Elka makes some of the BEST and MOST EXPENSIVE shocks for the Blaster. If you want better performance for a cheaper price WORKS also makes shocks that are a bit cheaper. Both can be found in the PB on-line store "Suspension" section. There is a variety of prices because of a few different things you can get. The range for front shocks is about $350 to $1,500. I guess what you would be looking at would be from $350 to $850. The rear shock is just about the same price as whatever you would pay for the certain brand of front shocks you would get. The Blaster does not have a good suspension setup and if your going to be hitting a lot of jumps and stuff it's a good idea to invest into at least a good pair of front shocks. I didn't really include wheels (rims) but those can be bought when you get tires. In my opinion the most preferred wheels are the Douglas .190's. There about $40 to $45 a wheel which would be like $80 to $90 for a set and for all four wheels like $160 to $180. Over time the stock wheels get bent up and are made from steel unlike the .190's which are aluminum. The Douglas wheels will also be much lighter. Those are most of the first major modifications you can do to your Blaster. From there you can do a lot more things but i think that's enough for now. I believe it's better to have stability before power. You want to have a wider and safer machine before you go making it faster and a lot more dangerous. Quote from ATV Scene:
