i am gonna be bying a rolling chassis of a blaster and making it look decent then i need ot buy the engine. how muhc do you think it will cost me for a used blaster engine?and form where can i find one. also what is a good 240 kit to have put on it. i have senn like almost 10 different kinds just wondering which ones best and reliable?

i have a Diamond Racing 240 kit and that thing is Amazing. i suggest it all the way. and for a used engine , i would say about....250-300 for sure

ok thanks.. how much was the diamond 240 kit ? did u send it out to be installed or did you install it youre self?

i send it to a shop for the installation and it was around 400$ for the kit

cpcustoms makes a nice 240 and a 265 kit

do you think a 265 kit would be as reliabe? also woudl this kit give me more top end speed and if so how muhc do oyu think.

Id say the HWD PD3 240 is the best. You get a 240 installed, and kick ass port job for a extremely low cost. I think a 265 is not that reliable just because if you have seen a 240 sleeve its very thin. I cant even imaging a 265 sleeve.

yes it would be quite reliable now if u got the 265 kit with a 4mm stroker that would make 290cc's

for the back shock i was wondering if i could buy a like used 250r or banshee shock and put it on.. first i owuld get it set up for my weight but there rebuildable arent they? for the fronts i am probally getting works. how do you think the back shock would work and which one would be better?

u could buy a 250r shock but a banshee shock wouldnt work

front banshee shock and 250r rear shock work perfectly
