i've never broke in any of my motors according to the owners maual...and they all ran/run fine!!! i don't know if it's because i dont have the patience to break it in, or that i just didnt give a f..............

lol me either but then again i always had a 4 stroke and i dont think it really matters for a 4 stroke...

"breaking in"your engine is simply getting the rings to seat properly without scoring....

i read sumwhere that sum1 did a test and found out that a brand new engine gave more power if it wasnt run in then if sum spent a few hours runing it in! they dynoed an engine that had been run in 4 a few hours and dynoed the same type engien but brand new and the engine that had been ran in was worse!!!

You dont want to go too easy on the engine. You want to put load on the engine so the rings will seat without glazing. You dont really have to worry about running too many rpms, just do not ride at one rpm for a long time. You have to go through the gears in the powerband.

i just rode it not to hard but not to easy and my motor runs exelent
