As you've all probably heard, your favorite parts source, Project Blaster, is going to release their very own set of graphics and seat covers for a very affordable price... $99 (for silver) $114 (for LT Flame Yellow). There is an important thing you should do before you apply your seat cover, because if it's not done, you will probably rip a hole in it before too long... First, take your old seat cover off, then take a look at the area towards the bottom where it sits against the tank. If you pull back the foam, you will see a lip at the bottom of the plastic. If you've noticed it before, many riders/racers wear holes in this area due to constant rubbing of the boot or leg. Project Blaster has decided to include a set of there instructions in all of our graphic kits, but just in case you don't get the PB kit, here's what to do. Get a sander or a grinder and grind the lip of the plastic at the bottom of this area. The lip is what causes the seat covers to wear holes. By grinding this area down, you are greatly decreasing the chances of this happening. Here's some pictures of what I mean You can see the lip on the plastic.... Take the grinder and grind this lip down in the area that your boot or leg will rub when riding. Now it is flat, and you can apply your seat cover.

you could just file away at it, but ask around and see if you can borrow a grinder because it will be easier.
