motor mayhem

i just blew my bike up about 2 weeks ago and have been dreading taking it apart, well today i did and there was metal and all kinds of stuff in my motor. i took out the reeds and found metal there and in my header. i havent taken off the jug yet because i ran out of time, do any of you guys know where i can find a brand new top and bottom engine,(case,and cylinder) because i know that mine is going to be shot on the bottom, plus i think it will just be faster. any advice would be appreciated..

i've already checked the past couple of days and nothing comes up besides complete bikes and re built engines. plus they are always in the east, im in California so it makes it kinda hard. i was wondering if yamaha sells complete engines, i dont have the money to run race gas.

You can ask them but it might be really expensive

yeah i know, but my dad wants me to get a new one cause my bikes a 91 and i dont know its pretty much a piece so i dont, know what im gonna do, he wont let me put a dirtbike engine in either, thanks for your advice if u hear anything though let me know. thanks again man

i dont think the whole engines shot, u'll prolly just gonna need a new crank and maybe a new jug and piston, and dont buy a motor from yamaha they'll rip u off

ok i just tore the jug off and the piston was crumbled off on one side, and there are a bunch of little pieces and big ones too all over the place. do u think that i should buy a new crank to?? i was thinking of getting a new one anyways, maybe from vito's with a longer rod.
