i got my blaster to go quite a bit faster. i have a k&n filter, and i took the extra 240 jet and installed it (the other one was 230), and took the airbox lid off. and it goes much more easily!!!!!! but its a whole lot louder (im quessing the airbox lid) is this ok? do i need more oil or anything like that? everything else is stock/untouched umm...... another question, can you take the big rubber airduct thing out and put a k&n filter right on stock carb? (i dont like that big ugly air tube) please post asap, i dont wana hurt my blaster! ;D thanks a lot! -jake

Its normal for something like that.
If you ride in dusty/muddy conditions, I recommend an outerwear for your air filter.
