ok here's the deal, I have someone working on my stock 03 blaster. My blaster smokes bad and seems to be running rich and he said my air filter was dowsed in gas so he's putting a K&N on it and he said try running some real high octane fuel. Will this help with the smoke? thanks for your time, hanmog

Running high octane fuel is meant for high compression motors. Not for motors that smoke. A common problem for any 2 stroke motor to smoke is your gas/oil mix ratio. Another problem could be worn piston rings. Usually when warming a 2 stroke motor up it will smoke, but then go away. If it runs fine...then you dont need to fix any of those problems.

have you ever thought that maybe it was smoking because the air filter was soaked in gas?
