If you were going to race it i would go with the YFZ. It's a lot better than the EX and is race ready out of the box.

The YFZ is better for races but the 400ex is way more dependable than the YFZ

Go with what you want , instead of the ex go with another 400 thats liquid cooled like the Z/KfX 400. and its all about what u ride, Like if ur into like trail riding and races a lil, then go witha 450R or if u all out race go with the YFZ, but if i were u i would wait for the Z450; if Sazuki makes it  |
