help were does the long lip of the kicker spring go?put the oil block on and cant seem to get this damn kicker spring right the kicker was not acting right when i got it when u kick it it would not spring back up u had to pull it with your hand.help

In the hole next to the screw hole on the top left....had the same problem over the weekend....had to turn the spring back so tension was on it and then slide the spring in, turn the kick start so it was straight and then slkide it all in....PITA! Good luck
