Is the Blaster right for me?

Hey guys....just found this site and love all the info on blasters.

Question, I am an adult 5,8 weighing 175 lbs, now would I enjoy this machine? I have been on the Raptor/z400/300ex/Banshee.

I know this is a smaller machine, but does it have enough power and torque to run in the woods and hills?

I already have a street toy and the wife will only let spend so much on a quad.

Well yes the Blaster Is Great Value for money and has good power range same as a 300ex only a 2-stroke if you know what i mean. But i think you might like a Polaris Predator it is a all rund quad but would be sigifically dearer than the Blaster

It has a good price and handling, but your gonna have to dump some cash into if you plan on racing the bigger quads

I'm 192lbs and 6 foot tall and I have a blast ( no pun intended) on the blaster, and they are cheap too, that teh best part.

when i first got into fourwheelin i had the choose between a banshee or blaster and some cash, and now i regret gettin the blaster, becuase like a month later all of my budds got either 450s or 400s and now im slow but it is a good deal

My friends got me into this sport and I love it, all we do is just run in the woods and climb hills. I will not be racing anybody. Until I can afford the machine I want I am choosing between a blaster or a 300ex just to get me out there and still have fun.

It costs money, but there are alot of hop-ups for the blaster which makes it neat.

For the price I would definetly get a blaster. Those 300ex are sooooo ugly. They look like they are from the 80's and honda never redesigned them. Pluse like you said you can do so much stuff to the blaster. Farely cheap too. If you do somethings you will smoke a 300ex. 2 strokes are so much easier to take care of and so much cheaper to rebuild if you need too.

i am gonna tell u the truth... i like my blaster, but i also dumped 15 grand into it... and im also very small so it fits me good,, if yur and adult, i wouldnt get a blaster, Def get the 300, its alot smooter in the trails cause its 4 stroke.. some big guys will tell u that blasters are the best and def get one but i dont think you should.... go wit the 300ex, more reliable too. and its a little bit bigger and has more fender to keep the mud out of yur face. I have taken my blaster on trails, like jack frost, it sucks ass, it feels like shit the whole way through, its bumpy and sucks.. but that was with stock shocks.. dosent seem like your gonna be modding it out to much so go with the 300ex

o yea and i also have a BRAND NEW! well actually a year old 2003 KFX 400, it perfect, its got a bumper, nerf bars, and hand guards,, perfect set up for the woods.. never raced it. Im sellin it pretty cheap and it would be perfect for you and you would def LOVE that on the trails. the suspesnion is very soft for trails... So if yur intreasted PM me or Email me at [e-mail]

I got a 1990 Blaster with a 2003 250 dirtbike motor in it.
