I let my blaster warm up for quite a while...put new gas (premium) in...will not stay started even after driving for an hour??? WTF am I missing something here? Any ideas what may be wrong??? Also takes about 50 kicks to get it started...this is a brand new 04 Blaster?

If you bought it brand new, there should have been a larger main jet (240) in the bag with the tire pressure guage and owners manual. Do a plug chop and check your jetting.

its just carbon buil dup then, its form the oil you use, if you have an injector, it pumps too much oil in,a nd the carbon builds up more, use a oil injector block off,a nd some amsoil, and you will have much better results, no carbon build up ect...

Read the jetting info in the FAQ section of the forums. you probably fouled out the plug from trying to start it too many times. The stock oil injection has to go. You can read about disabling it in the FAQ section also. You can do that mod for free and your quad will love you for it.

If You dont live in a clod climate then it could be ur idol, or ya the carbon build up is a prob, when i first got my blaster i riped that piece of shit oil enjector off and premixed 32:1 with Pennzoil. but u dont have to use a special oil if you want, it can be yamaha brand or sum off brand what ever u can afford and can get
