i had my blaster stolen a couple weeks ago and it turned up like 300 miles away from my house(literally)it was dumped off somewhere and no one was caught,but it looks like they tried to wire it up to start without the key switch so it looks as if they just tore all the wiring and everything out(never did get the key switch back.ALL i have is the cdi 12v reg and the coil.
How can i wire my blaster without the key and light switch i have a yz kill switch i can put on it i just need to know how to wire it up...ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED !!! THANKSSS!!!

#1 THE WHITE WIRE WITH THE RED STRIPE THAT IS COMING OUT OF THE CDI BOX GOES TO THE WHITE WIRE WITH RED STRIPE COMING FROM THE STATOR WIRING
#2 THE BLACK WIRE WITH THE RED STRIPE COMING FROM THE CDI GOES TO THE BLACK WIRE WITH THE RED STRIPE COMING FROM THE STATOR
#3 THE SOLID BLACK WIRE COMING FROM THE CDI GOES TO THE BLACK WIRE AT THE STATOR ***** AND IT WILL NEED A WIRE SPLICED INTO IT GOING TO THE COIL***** AND NOTHING ELSE.......... REMOVE ALL THE OTHER GROUND POINTS !!!!!!!!
#4 THE SOLID ORANGE WIRE COMING FROM THE CDI GOES DIRECTLY TO THE COIL UNDER THE GAS TANK
#5 THE BLACK WIRE WITH THE WHITE STRIPE IS THE KILL WIRE......... WHEN IT IS TOUCHING NOTHING THE ENGINE WILL RUN ******** YOU HAVE TO TOUCH GROUND AND IT WILL KILL THE SPARK**********
#6 THAT LEAVES YOU WITH A YELLOW WIRE WITH A RED STRIPE COMING FROM THE STATOR JUST CAP IT OFF AND COVER IT SO IT CAN NOT TOUCH ANY OTHER BARE WIRE OR ANY CHASSIS POINTS ********** YOU DONT WANT IT TO TOUCH ANYTHING GROUNDED OR ANY OTHER WIRES**********
ANY WIRING OTHER THAN THIS CAN BE REMOVED AND IS NOT NEEDED FOR THE ENGINE TO RUN

do i need to use the voltage reg. are you planning to use the headlight? if so then yes you need it if you just want it to run without all the other wiring then please read what i posted above it will tell you exactly what to do to make it run |

i took my hood off to put on my bumper and when i put it back on the key didnt work. i hoocked it up right too.

ok thanks.I have it wired up right now with the reg on it.Im just going to leave it on there cause i dont like the idea of capping off the yellow and red wire.Thanks abunch!!!

hey when you put those wires together push them together really hard you will think its cliped but if its somthin like the head light it will go on and off when it wants so its really hard to ride at night
