taking off headlight and dont no what to do????

hi i am geting new maier plastic and i want to take off my headlight what do i do with the black thing the key is on please help

all u gotta do is unhook the wires, so the wires that go directly from the key switch deal should have a rubber thing n they jus pull apart. once u pull them apart it should start fine without a key.

Well, it wouldn't be that hard to push it away but yeah i would keep it like it is and just mount it somewhere else.

if someone wanted to steal ur blaster all they have to do is pull on the key thing untill it pops off (a small child could easily do this) and then kick it over n its theres...so dont worry about that, invest in a teather kill switch..u cant start it without the teather connected, and its a lil bit more complex than the key, and it mounts to ur handlebars

a teather would be the same as a kill switch, when the teather gets pulled out (like if u crash, its connected to ur belt or w/e) it will make the quad stall. so it will shut off the quad...so the red switch will have the same effect as the teather.

My friend starts his Blaster all the time and NEVER uses his tether kill switch. I'm guessing it isn't connected right if that's possible right?

i dunno how u can start yur quad with the teather out, i cnat start mine with the teather it, it only tsarts when its in

its probbably wired wrong and you can get a bar clamp with the keyhole in it do it will be on your bar clamp
