I just added a bills pipe/silencer, power reeds, reed spacer, and k&n filter, and a vitos jet kit with a 290 main jet and a larger pilot jet. I have the air screw out 2 turns. When I take off, the engine has no power/throttle response until the powerband comes in...hard. Why is there such a hard hit when the powerband comes in? Its like there is no power and then BAM! I did the WOT plug chop and it was tan, same with the 1/2 throttle plug chop. This is my first modded 2 stroke and I was just wondering if this is how they react. How can I fix the closed to 1/4 throttle position?
