Well like 2 days ago I went ridin and we kept hittin this mud hole and it was pretty deep so I figured I would have to clean the filter. So when I got home I cleaned the filter and the black thing under the filter had a thin layer of mud in it so i stuck a towel down there and got the mud out. After that I tried to start it and it starts after one kick, and idles great but when I give it gas it makes a deep noise like its boggin or something and every once in a while it backfires and makes a big poppin noise. Well I cleaned the filter and I cleaned the carb, made sure the park break wasnt on (if the park break is on then it will make this noise) so I ruled those out and now I am stumped dose anyone know what it is. I was thinking tors or maybe the censors are off with the parking break.

try ur spark plug that is usully the case for me and that also happend to my friend after he got done muddin in my creek so i would try that

did u put the filter back on when it was wet?
did u test it with the seat and airbox lid off?

is something in ur silencer? maybe some water got in it when u were washing it

Well I checked all of those. Yesterday I put all the plastics on ready to take it to the Yamaha Dealership to let them work on it. So I start it up for one last time to see if it decides to fix itself and what do you know the damn thing starts up and revs good, then it cuts out. So I start it up hold it wot and I pegd it out and now it runs fine. I guess something was caught in the carb not allowin it to mix right. I am just glad its fix ...lol

no i think when u where ridding in the mud u like suxed shit into ur enigne becuase the same damn thing happend to me and i had to go into the damn thing and cleaned it out but like after i cleaned it o ut it was fine; but i think urs prolly just cleaned its self out

LOL i dont know what the hell it was. I started it up the other day...and it reveed real good so I started ridin it and it kept cuttin out so i kept ridin i think something just got caught up in the carb or something but it is screamin
