About a month ago i just bought a 1993 Yamaha Blaster, the top end was just rebuilt and everything was cleaned up rigth before i bought it. Now when i tried to start it the other day it wouldnt, so we checked the spark plug, thats ok, we checked if there was gas flowing to the carb, and thats ok. Now i think theres gas flowing to the cylender because when we took the spark plug out there was gas on it. I thought it was flooded so i let it set overnight to let it air out. I came back to it in the morning and tried to start ot again, but it still diddnt. Then i sprayed starter fluid in it and i still didnt start. Im ging crazy over this because ive never had this problem before, its always atarted and ive never has to kick it more then 4-5 times. Do you guys have nay clue on what is ging on here. My dad said the timing couold be wrong but other then that we are lost.
Now to my brakes, my brakes suck, i broke the caliper and am getting a new one but do u think i should get a new roter, whcih might give it more bite.
Please help, thanks, TheBlasterMan

blaster are notorious for bad brakes up until 03...mine suck so bad...put new pads on and they still suck...the only solution hydros

try checking if your cylinder nuts and base nuts are tight.I had the same prob. Check your carb joints(rubber piece where carb connects to cylinder) make sure the clamp is tight.make sure there is no air leaks coming into the cylinder.
