i know there has probably been a million threads on this...but i couldnt find anything good
when i do wheelies i have to find a little bump to hit in 2nd gear and then i cna get the front end up and go for a little bit
heres my problems with wheelies...i dont know how to get them up without a little help (a bump, rut, etc.), when i do get them up how do i shift during them, and how do you ride a long wheelie???
help would be greatly appreciated

To tell you the truth. When my Blaster was stock....I had a hard time wheeling because of lack of power. I also noticed that it would wheelie really easy when I was in the grass, but it wouldnt in loose dirt. But once...I did some performance mods done...it wheelies in any type of terrain. Ill give you a tip though.....a good wheelie gear is 2nd gear. So lean back and pop it up. Then find the balance point and you can ride forever if you get that good. You can also shift into higher gears....but that is only going to make you go faster and then youg going to have a hard time keeping it at the balance point. So I recommend doing wheelies in 2nd or 3rd gear. Hope this helps.

Ya just what he said when it's stock you can mostly only do good wheelies in dry grass or rough dirt because you don't have a lot of power. But if you get at least good tires and maybe diff. size sprocket it will make a difference. And 2nd gear would be the best gear to pull wheelies up, just lean back and just gas it when your up there find a balance point and you'll ride it. dont worry if you stand the bike straight up on the grab bar, it happened to me a couple times. and make sure not to hit the grab bar on the ground to hard because you'll bend it and maybe even crack the frame so hope this helps and good luck

well im sorry but i dont agree with that i cant do as good as wheelies now as i could when my quad was stock but yet i have my suspension set up to try to keep the front end down...when it was stock i would just lean back and have it in 2nd gaer right before the power band and the crack the throttle and pull back and keep the frnt end a good height off the ground andthen once the gear starts to winde out i would click it to third and try to keep my balnce once you get the balince down you will be able to wheelie for ever...lol....just take time and learn how to keep the front end up by practicing it will take time but if that is your intrest kepp on practicing and you will get good

yeah i found 2nd gear the easiest to get them...and the place i ride is called the sand pitts (kinda a mixture of dirt and sand) and it is hard to get a wheelie up there...i can do them goin down the street...when you shift during the wheelie do you have to use the clutch...how does that work
