i bought a used blaster and want to make it run flawlessly what should i do to make it run like new? what should i change?

no im installing parts to make it faster later first i want to make the engine run like new

well go buy a new air filter i would get k&n but i hear pepole like UNI, buy some new reeds stock or boysen, take you cyclinder to a shop and have them have it bored(or if you cant rebuild a top end on your own have them rebuild it for you).buy new piston and rings and than put it together ill post prices in a lil wile

these prices are strait from the pb store wiseco piston and rings $84-$89 Complete Top End Gasket Kit $28 wrist pin Bearing $12 boysen power reeds $22
and these prices im guessing at K&n Filter $30-$40 Uni Filter im guessing $29-$39 labor charge for taking it to a shop as i guess im going to say $150

try and do it your self or get some one that can help you rebuild it b/c the dealer will rip you off

yes thats very true..i took my quad in and they just did a full service on it and has to fix some stuff up...it cost like $150 and then i get it home and the shifter is stuck...so i had to fix it anyways...and then my friends dad says "oh i wouldve done that for nothin"
