does anybody have a guide to rebuilding my top end. motor went boom.what all do i need. what all should i do while its apart.

its not that hard do u have tools ? u should check for metals and such in the motor, check the bearing and rod and thats about it

Same thing happened to me. My oil injector pump went out and i fried my piston.  What you do is take off the cylinder, check the inside of it, and check the piston. If you see any serious scratches you can buy a new sleeve and piston or you can have it bored. Thats what I did, I went .20 over with a wiseco piston and it runs great.  Make sure to get the Oil injection Block off kit because you wont want that to happen again. Hope this helps. |

i havent had that problem...there is oil getting in to mine i dont understand why everyone has problems with the oil injector

Ya but that pump can go out any time. It's up to you you can keep the pump in but I think that PreMix is so much easier.
