My dumd ass friend says that i need my engin borred for a ct racing pipe or a Graydon pipe pipe. right now i have a toomy and the power gain sucks compaired to my sisters blaster and she gota ct racing pipe but hers is bored. plus i dont have the money to boreit. WHEN IS THE NEW GRAYDON COMINING. im gunna sell my toomey. IAN

We have been told that the pipes should be here by the end of the, maybe as soon as next week.

LOL. I have a toomey and I think it gives a lot of torque. If you get your engine bored doesnt it only works better on up hills not like drag racing?

First off - the toomey pipe will mainly just add top end power and will ACTUALY HAVE LESS TORQUE than the stock pipe. Second, boring does (&$^# for power, its only needed when rebuilding to get the scars off the cylinder walls. The only type of boring that will give you power are the 240 bore kits - and still, just the bore wont give u but a couple HP, its the porting WITH the 240's that make all the difference.

boring has nothing to do with a pipe u have just get it ported and boom lots of power

The CT pipe flows a lot better than others, and is good for a 240 kit. While other pipes, like FMF aren't exactly flowing enough cfm for a big bore kit. Other than that, you don't have to bore for a pipe, although you will have to rejet.
