Yes there is a way to take it off. Just disconect the two wires and put electrical tape around the ends so nothing shoets out.....You will have to tak the entire setup under ur handlebars.  |

Yes,
mine is dissconnected, its such as hassle trying to find you key and stuff. It makes it more like a MX bike or quad, with just the kill switch.

so u take the 2 ends strip the rubber around the wire then wrap the two ends together and put electric tape on em? then my quad will start anf i dont need to have the big black thing on my ahndlebars?

i will tell you what i did i took the key start off and put it on my work bentch and then to the two wires and hoock them togather and it starts
