Ok everytime i go around a sharp turn, i have to double clutch it to keep it from bogging and having no power. Please help, im going to change my plugs to see if that is it but if not can someone please help me?  |

i had that same problem and it was my reeds they were shit so check those if the sparkplug thing didnt work

also maybe you should change all the oil, and adjust you idle.

You may have it jetted too rich. Try a smaller jet and see how it runs. Do you hear any noises coming from the engine like a slapping sound? also, like Jesse said, it could be your reeds, check to make sure none are cracked or missing.

Ya i do hear a slapping noise in my engine...I put the jets in that toomey gave me though

the slapping noise could be your piston. If you have piston slap, that means it's not tight with the sleeve anymore, which means you're going to need a new piston and possibly a bore to the next size over. If you have time, take your head off and see if you can move your piston just a little bit. It shouldn't move at all, it should be tight in the cylinder. Also... Toomey doesn't actually know what size jet you need, they just give you the one that they think will work the best. It's too hard to tell what size jet you're going to need because of other mods and your altitude.

Well the noise isnt exactly a slapping nise, its more of just a vibrating noise...I think its the jets, where can i get some without having to spend much, like how much would it cost me for just the one i need?

i just got the tommey pipe to and im running the jet that came with it. my 2003 blaster is all stock axcept for the pipe and intake should i be running a dif jet? I did notice that everyonce in awhile in low rpms it seems to bog.

maybe but the reason it might be bogging is the revs r too low and dont have any power in that low or revs as long as it doesnt bog in the high or mid revs its fine
