I am looking into a 1992 yamaha blaster with a 240 big bore kit, aftermarket carb, rebuilt shocks, newer tires, and a lightend frame. it needs an oil resivoir, has no back plastic and the fronts are shaved. there is no rust, no bends or breaks anywhere on the frame and the seat and plastic look good. buying from a relative who is asking $650. has sat in storage for about 3 years and just got a new tune up and is running good or so im told.

Go for it. The best way to buy is used I feel. expecially from a relative. I bought mine used and it was real dirty but otherwise perfect. I have had no problems with it. I didn't get a 240, but I still got a good deal.

sounds like a deal to me, think of it this way, if you peaced it apart and sold it over ebay, you'd get more money than what you bought it for.....??
