Im looking for a quad that i can just chill around my block. Im not going to be racing it, just having some little jumps around my house and down the street, but i will be drag races on the street a lot. Im looking at a 400ex and Z400. I dont think that i will need the 450s for wat im doing. Also, i want to see if any1 thinks the Raptor could fit wat im looking for. I may keep the blaster and hook it up, but i like the 400 idea better, just want to see if any1 thinks that i should do that. Thanks for ur time. (PLEASE READ THIS B4 VOTING)

I picked the 400ex because it is good for what you want it to do, and it is a fair price, and its a reliable, and if you ever plan on racing (you never know what the future will hold ) you will have a good enough quad to be competitive and plus there are alot of modifications available for a 400ex...so that is why i selected it..

i would go DVX becuz its differnet its got 8.5 gas shocks up front and 9.1 rear and the EX ony has 8.2(no gas shock) front and 9.1 rear. The DVX is bound to be more reliable with the liquid cooled system so my overall choice would be the DVX400

O and i only found this out DVX's plastics front and back can come of to look like there cut so u dont have to cut them and u can put them back on whenever you want, There is also a kind of a Graphics kit on the DVX when it comes

No way the Z becuz there is more modifications for them than there is for the EX and besides an EX would oveheat with a 470 kit on or something so i would definetly go with the Z

The DVX is bound to be more reliable with the liquid cooled system so my overall choice would be the DVX400 you wont feel a difference with like a quarter of and inch more travel or so more...and plus i think the dvx hasnt proven itself yet...i would get the 400 because the dvx is new and you dont know what can go wrond with it...

Ya, I think i will be safer on a honda, suzuki, or a yamaha, I have rarely ever heard of an Artic Cat. Is a Z really faster? Whats the HP on both and top speed on both. Thanks.

well, the suzukasaki cat 400's are liquid cooled and the honda is air cooled...so the other ones are a lil faster, but you wont really need liquid cooling for just tooling around and thats what some of the people arent grasping that you are just messing around, if you get the suzuki 400 or w/e you might as well get a 450.....
