I'm trying to start racing and i was wondering if i should try a harescramble at Budd's Creek first or a motocross race at The Landing

i would do motocross first just because i guarantee you that something will break if you do the harescramble lol

with my luck i would probably end up breaking something either way if you do proper maintence you wont break anything unless you wreck. i got about 100 hours of harescrmble racing on my blasty this year and all i have broken was a rear fender bracket at a muddy race. i also broke a headlight, rear and front bumper and a rear axle, but that was in a few wrecks

i had my first race and it was at budds creek. i always went there checking out the track but when you get on it its completely different. all those bumps that you see everywhere are like a foot high but it makes it funner. right now the track is harder because they reversed it. i have been told that there hare scrambler track is real bumby and that it is hard on stock fourwheelers. you should start out in mx. there is going to be a race every weekend in january for the winter series and that is the time to start because its not as crowded. you should go to the landing mx park and get use to being on a track, thats what i did and it helped. when your at budds look for #8 on a blue blaster!!!

i finnaly got some serious time on an mx track this weekend and i had a blast. its really hard to compare the two tho,xc racing you ride alot more reserved for 2 hours and mx is just real fast for a short time. takes totally different muscles andskill than a xc race. i still like xc better, but i had fun. having a great track to learn on was nice too. check it out www.earlywineracing.com
