yfz, 450r, or z400 for harescramles?

Hey guys, I am going to be getting a new quad soon. What would you guys reccomend for harescramble racing. I really like the z only because it has lower gearing and reverse. Is reverse really needed? Is the yfz's gearing low enough for harescrambles? Also, what about the 450r by honda. I have heard it has lower gearing. What would you guys do? To top this off, what parts should I put on the new quad I will soon be getting to do harescramles? Let me know. Thanks. John

they would all be good...but yet im a die hard honda fan so i would get the 450r

all three bikes are great choices. pick the one that feel's comfortable to you and the machine that has to closest dealer to your house because if your racing XC your going to need parts.

yfz because you dont need a reverse because its so light i have one so thats why i know the gearing is low enough for what your loooking for

i say one of the 450's probally the yfz just becasue i think they r very sporty and i no that honda is haveing trouble with the tranny in the 450. i know becaseu i talked to tim farr at a indoor track by where i live and i talked to the owner and he said that tim blew the tranny out of like 3 when he was there

ive rode a 400ex there good and ive rode a z400 and ive rode a 450r they are all good but im a die hard yamaha fan but rayne your a die hard honda fan
