some tips:
1. lean into turns hard
2. don't sit down, get your ass off the seat
3. keep your quad level while jumping and rev it up before you land to hit and go
4. if you have to bump people, then do it
5. most importantly- get a good start! Hold it down and burst out of the gate, hold it wide open as long as you can, then going into the first turn lean as hard as you can and shift down one gear while still on the throttle

Body english is the key to cornering well. You want to lean hard into those corners! That and good throttle/clutch control. You should be leaning hard but still stay smooth around a corner. It just takes practice.
I use mostly my front brakes as I enter a corner. I always stay on the throttle hard, so my brakes take a beating. I push the rear with the throttle while dragging on the front brakes. I’ll use the rears, too, if I have to. I did that a lot when I was new but now I find that I use mostly the front brakes.

i find the best way is to stay on the inside and lean hard while slammin ur bak breaks while in the corner to get ur bak end to slide around!

on turns, i take the outsude coming into the turn, then cut sharp and take the inside coming out, the later u can brake the better, and the longer u can stay straight
