why is the airbox soo expensive i will just buy some aluminum and make my own air box with pvc pipe and clamops and stuff alot eaiser and alot cheaper

If you really think they just put some box together and are selling it for that much money then you need your head checked. If it was that easy then they wouldn't make any money and wouldn't have even produced it. It's a very durable product, it looks good, and comes with the carb boot, White Brother Powerfilter, clamps, Outerwears box cover, and installation instructions. Seriously, you just need to take a step back and look at it... why would they charge that much money or even make it if someone could make the same exact thing for less than half the price?!

if your dads a welder than hell yah have him make you one..I for one think its to expensive as well, but I do understand the time and work that goes into it..I rather get a 250r air box and fab that up and have double the air flow, and double the size of the filter.

actually yea, it is the cheapest airbox out there lol. It's only $159... I just don't see how you could complain about that. It comes with everything you need to just slap it on and go. oh well, if you know somebody that can make you one, then go for it. Most people don't have access to fabrication work, or just don't have the time. but come on lol, $159? if we go by how other companies price their products, it should be up in the $280-$300 range with the work and time put into it. AND REMEMBER! this is a business, if we don't make money, we can't make new products! ... and we wouldn't have a hot girl pose on a green blaster!  |

i honestly dont think the price is that bad. because if u ever looked aluminum aint cheap anyway. and the pb airbox is that cool lookin aluminum lol. but its also extra thick and extra durable. plus it comes with everything it takes to make it run. u get a filter with it, a carb boot with it, and an outerwears box cover. so i mean that stuff all together makes about $60. so ur goona sit there n tell me that getting an aluminum airbox for $100 is bad....im goona look back at u and tell u your crazy.
