Why do people put tape around there axles???
If any one has a idea let me no because i dont think it will make you go any faster but hey it might...

The only reason I would think is to protect the chrome? But with the tape you wouldnt see it anyway, and I know it aint to hold it together, maybe they do it to see if they bend it? Like cover it all the way with tape and if the tape like rips that means they bent it? I dont know  |

people put tape over there axle nuts so they can tell wen there nuts av cum loose so they can tighten em up! aslong as the tape is put on tighten enuf it wil stretch n snap wen the nuts cum loose also it sortof stops the nuts cumin loose a bit  |

too keep drt out of the threads on the axle nut.. if you look the tape is always over the axle nut
