Anybody have a "how to" to install a grease fitting on a stock axle carrier?

i'd just go to an automotive parts store and buy a couple different sized zirk fittings...drill a small hole in the middle top of the carrier. most zirks are self tapping..just thread it in...grease er up and your done.

yeah its not hard, get some fittings then on a scrap piece of metal drill a hole and thread it then screw in the grease nipple to make sure you have the right size bit and tap, then do it on the carrier, very easy, heres mine i did a while ago

Looks nice! My swingarm is already powdercoated....do you think I can still do this and not ruin the paint? And what size fittings do you recommend? Thanks

i put mine in after i powdercoated them too! just make sure you dont slip with the drill

center punches are wonderful tools for that...dont just go drilling like crazy...your sure to slip.

i would 2 use a center punch and make a indent were u want the zirk before u drill it we did that...................it helps
