alright so my dad was talking to the guy from trenga today and he suggested that if i want a faster blaster i need...reeds,reed spacer, pipe, airbox and filter
i was already thinking about the reeds and pipe and filter
heres my question...do i have to take off the oil injector no matter what airbox...and if so....why?

yeah man...get rid of that injector. and no....i've been around fourwheelers for a hella' time...and everyone that sells an AFTERMARKET airbox requires you to take off your oil injenctor. and if you race mx...when you take off your oil injector..that will shave off some weight.

theres alot of people that say you should take it off and claim they blew there top end because of it and yet they don't know if it did because they didn't test the injector and see if it still works..
Yamaha built the injector system to be reliable not to fail..I say keep it on unless your going to be doing some serious mx..

you dont need to buy the 30.00 kits to remove the injection system.. you can do it for free. remove the clutch cover and then take off the white gear and shaft. but leave the pump in. then plug the hole in the carb with jb weld. then remove everything else and your set

dude buy the kit trust me it works great.by the way the injector is unreliable becuz it runs on a plastic gear that breaks alot.plus by mixing gas the ratio will be mor efficiant and u always kno thata ue machine is getting oil.

if you buy V-Force Delta 2 reeds you dont need a reed spacer, and they are the best reeds around , G3 are good too

Ya man just buy the kit, It's only $30 and it's cheap insurance. You will never know when the plastic gear shred's up.
