Hi I am a few weeks out from buying my 2004 or 2005 Blaster and I dont really like the thumb throttle I was wondering how much it will cost to get it change into the dirt bike style throttle where the grip turns.

you just have to be good w/ twist throttle. I prefer thumb over twist on quads because a dirtbike you dont have to turn the handle bars much. but on a quad you are allways finding youself regriping on the twist throttle. If you are racing i reccomend a 1/4 turn one. May pro's use twist throttles though. i know kory ellis and i believe john natile does.

its like riding a hole different way not really, its not that big a deal, i mena i got a twist and it was fine, i used to ride dirtbikes so i guess that might make a differnce, but thumb, or twist, watever u like it doesnt feel all that diffent to me.

you can get a brand new motion pro twist throttle kit off ebay for $35. thats what i have. and like everyone said...it's a bitch if you aren't used too it, or just don't like it period. i love my twist, and can ride killer wheelies...(if you know how to ride them..you find your balancing postion, and really just apply gas as you need it.)

dont get twist if u pop a wheelie ull be holiding on tight while giving it the gas i totally agree when you pop a wheelie and if u start to lean to far back and start to fall back instead of hoping off youll be giving it more gas(which is not good at all , serious injury)
