hey right now i am selling my 1998 250 trail boss because i need osmehting better!!since its close to winter and i usually ride sled i figured since i am getting 1200 for the trail boss that i should make the blaster how i want it. i am most liekly just goin to buy a rolling chassis and then make it look pretty decent wiht some new plastics and new tires. i owuld do this all oer the winter and i could hvae it looking pretty good and clean then when spring comes i would be able yo buy a motor to put in it. does this sound like a waste of money or osmethin i should do be cuase i will do anythign during the winter to get out of my hous even if i am in the gagre working its better then being bored inside. also how much do you think a stock rolling chassis should cost me. i found a guy who has one but i have no lcue what to offer. thanks and sorry for the long post

Yeah man doing that would save you even more money IMO. BTW a rolling chasis goes for about $400 But ask him first for 300 and if he says no bring it up to 400 And yes we love to see projects like this. So keep us posted!!!

yeh i tihnk i am gonna have some fun doing this project... i will make sure i take pictures of the stages of it.. for the motor i plan on getting a 240 kit probally holly wood or diamond racing not sure which one. then for pipe i will probally get the phantom pipe, unless i find a better one. ii dont have ot worry about the motor to much untill next spring.. but as far as plastics go i havent decided yet. i really like the lime green ones on this site, not sure what they zare called. i need some help on the suspension... i figured i would probally get works since there cheaper and i want to save a little money but then around next winter i would be able to buy some elkas or osmething of higher quality. how good will the works be like as far as jumping and just mx racing? i would probally get the ones w/ rezzies not sure what else on them. let me know what you think.
