yeah i know alot of people said they want to see pics of the cut airbox..i will do that wednsday because tomarrow im bringing the shock to school to bore out the spacer and drill the hole..ill have it all done wednseday nigh..hopfully

i put the shock on my 03 and i didnt have to do anything to my air box. do you still run the lid on yours? that may be the only problem

Yeah i know i figured that out before..i dont have to cut anything on my 03..... ???BUT...the stupid spacer is so damn hard the lathe we have at school couldnt bore the hole out so know my teacher said the only way of getting it to work is by making one...the only metal he has is too big and not as strong so we have to change the hole shape of the rod and then tomarrow well bore it out... .but he said it might not last as long as the normal one

i cant, but thats a good idea doing it at school. i am gonna do that next year. so ur saying u dont have to do anything to the air box, just take off the lid or snorkel?

If you did not make your spacer for the top as wide as the opening you will need to put washers between the shock and the mount, I didn't do this at first and my spacer started migrating out, so be CAREFULL!

I did... notice the blueish green thing and theres a black one on the other side...there rubber not metal.
