Well my 400ex shock is comin tuesday and i was wondering if wen i cut the snorkel thing off should i get a new jet ...cause i think ther will be more airflow?

I would say there will not be that much of an increase of air flow just by removing the snorkle. The snorkle is only there to locate the opening of the airbox up under the front of the seat so water will not get in. If you are removing the whole airbox lid, you will have to go up a jet size. Do a plug chop.

ya i dont think youll have to rejet cus the snorkel like he said just moves the opening of the airbox up higher so i doubt you would unless you remove the whole airbox lid then you will.....

i dont know what a plug chop is... but if u got an extra jet with ur blaster, it should be a 240. remove the airbox lid and try that. remember 2 put the lid back on if u ride in mud or water. oh, and if u dont know how 2 jet, its really easy. take off the carb, part way so u can take off the 4 screws that hold on the bowl of the carb, take em off, then get a 6mm socket wrench. take ou the jet and put a new one in, and put the carb back on. i jetted mine 2x and its really easy. just incase u didnt know  |

lol..i dont. can u by any chance post some pics..cause i dont know wat the bowl thing is or any of that..well i didnt get a extra jet anyway.
