Hey guys, My friend is looking at a 89 blaster. It has a 1998 motor in it but needs crank work and rear brake work. The guy wants $500 for it...do you think its worth it? Also, how hard is it to fix the crank and brakes? thanks

500$ ? thats a good price , the crank shaft is only 160 (wiseco hot rod!) tell him its a good price but he will need to go to his local dealer to rebuild the engine...

Project bike! If you can't get any lower on the price $500 is fine. It's not extremely complicated to fix stuff you just need a manual and if you really don't believe you can do it yourself then have a near-by shop or dealer do it.
