I said a 400ex shock, its more updated, there newer as well...But you can't run your airbox lid, and you have to cut a little plastic

400ex cause i heard u dont have to do much. with a 250r, i heard you have to make a custom braket or something ;D250r shock

im sure both are a good improvement but i have heard that the 400 shock dosent add ride height and it bolys right on but im not sure.....

400ex: its newer and dont deen rebuilt. They both give about the same amount of travle. The 400ex does not add much ride height where the 250r has to be shortened and revalved for a blaster. The 400ex is all around a easier buy.

can you run a vca aluminum airbox with a stock 400 ex rear shock?

Yeah...IF you have a Aftermarket airbox then it will fit no problem no mods to the plastic because that part is already cut out.

ex. its newer and less mods to get it to fit. and it wont raise the back end

Why not just take the snorkel off of your lid? Oh and if you absolutely MUST run without a lid, will you have to rejet? If so approximately what size if there are no engine mods... (pipe etc.)

Oh, I see now.... But why can you not run with the lid exactly, if it doesn't even affect the snorkel? Also if someone doesn't mind can they take a picture of where they cut the plastic?
