They keep you from running over your own feet/legs and from others tires getting caught on yours RIGHT by your foot.

They keep you from running over your own feet/legs and from others tires getting caught on yours RIGHT by your foot. i had that happen to me; i was racing and this kid was like rubbing tires with me and i started to pull aways and his tire like got wegde in there and then he basically ran me over  it suxd |

But yeah they keep others tires out of that area. Basically if you race you have to get some.  |
