lowering kit

does anyone know the rough deminsions of a front and rear lowering kit, around 2-3in. lower. what would be the best metal to make them out of like steel or aluminum.
any pictures.
i have an idea for the front but idk what the rear would look like?

Let me ask you a question first..

Are you going to be drag racing were you don't need suspension, or are you going to be flattracking where you need suspension.

i dotn do either but i dont jump i just ride and i think it whould look sweet and it gives me somethign to do. but i would need suspension
