do any of you use axis shocks? they are suposed to be better than elka. most of the pro gncc racers use axis shocks. people who have had elkas say that they would rather run stock. and people who have axis say that they are the best they have ridden. what do yall think?

yea axis are like the best shocks. but i dont think that any one would rather run stock shocks than elka.. elka are also very good shocks

axis is more of a bigger quad shock like a 250r elkas are very good from what i hear

YEAH AXIS, PEP, AND ELKA ARE THE BEST SHOCK CO., NOT TO MENTION TCS. tHEY'RE ALL REALLY GOOD CO.

for the blasters, I would choose Elka over Axis... Axis doesn't just straight up sell a zero-preload shock for the blaster like Elka. The other downside is that Elka only takes 10 days to make shocks, where Axis is around 4 weeks.

and PEP's are 7 weeks lol i wont have mine till august! along with my leager long travel a-arms ;D

wha are the pros and cons of pre load my friend has a 0 preload rear elka shock on his z-400 and he said that he can adjust the compression, he tells me its better, because when you adjust preload, it makes it harder/softer and it adjusts the height, when you adjust compression it only effects ride height, i donno if it makes sense, but thats what he told me
