I love to ride super cross and motor cross and so I do have done a great deal of modification to my suspension. I have a dura break oh…I mean dura blue +4 axle, +2 a arms, works dual rate with ressies, which I have set pretty stiff (9th grove down) but I still have a huge problem bottoming out. It used to be really bad when I had my stock suspension but I still do with my new set up. Even if I land on the down side of a jump and hit the throttle upon landing I still land very hard. I am not a big guy at all I weight around 150 and my shocks are set for 190. My friends and I were looking at my quad and it seems that the shocks are not what is bottoming out necessarily but my frame where the a arms mount up are the part that is bottoming out. I was wondering if there is anyways possible that I could stop this from happening? Should I tighten my shocks up even more? I still have the stock rear shock I was wondering it I were to get an after market one if that would help me any? Thanks for the help.

aftermarket shocks should take care of your problem. If you get an aftermarket Works rear shock, it will help to an extent. It will be a lot better than stock, but an Elka rear shock is nearly impossible to bottom out if you land a jump right.
