Would somebody explain to me what all these terms mean? Adjustable rebound. Sag. Rezzies. Piggybacks. Adjustable preload. And all the rest of the suspension lingo. I get frustrated when everybody is talking all this stuff and I dont understand! Thanks.

Would somebody explain to me what all these terms mean? Adjustable rebound. Sag. Rezzies. Piggybacks. Adjustable preload. And all the rest of the suspension lingo. I get frustrated when everybody is talking all this stuff and I dont understand! Thanks. Ajustable Rebound - Upon landing on a ramp, your shock has to 'rebound' and become extended again, which is one of the jobs of the spring. By setting the rebound you can determine how fast it 're-bounds' after a landing. The perfect setting is have it rebound fast enough, without the back end bucking you in the ass. Sag - The inches or amount the shock sags when someone gets on the quad. Say the shock is fully depressed, then someone sits on it, depending on how much you set the sag, it might 'sag' several inches. Your quad might sit really high when no ones on it, but if your sag is set to say - 3 inches, then once you get on it, the shocks will compress about 3 inches. Rezzies - Short for Rezivoirs, they're a small cylinder looking thing thats either remote or piggy back. The remote rezzies are attached to the shock VIA a steel hose, it hols oil in the cylinder, helps keep shocks cool and not over heated, to the point they arnt doing their job. PiggyBack Rezzis are attachted directly to the shock boddie and arnt remote and dont flow oil VIA a steel hose because they're ON the shock itself. Hope this answered most of your question, If you have anymore, please ask, i'm sure many here can help in answering it too.
