i use a 290 w/ phantom, k&n, no airbox lid. but it isnt really hard to get on at all. different people have different prolems. some one on here had the cooling fins hitting the pipe, mime is like 2 cm away, but i had to buy longer bolts for the silencer hanger and the pipe hangar and like 10 washers.

Why would you want to pay some one to install it? Just install it yourself may take time but atleast you aint gonna blow away money by having a dealer or a shop do it.

It just takes patience, if you can't get it on the first try don't give up..make sure you have the fright fender off, that will help..And make sure you have the flange attached to the head pipe and then attach the head pipe and flange to the motor, just keep trying, and don't try and protect the pipe when you put it on, its going to get scrathed, you won't notice it so don't be to fragile on it..

You will also have to jet your quad as well.

Yup thats the fun of owning a quad... to learn how to work on things and become knowledgable about it. not paying other people to work on your quad I personally think that it totally wrong but engine work is an exception but puttin on a pipe ehhhh try and try and youll get it.

Just put it on yourself it might take like 10 minutes at most I dont know if its just like that with the bend of pipe that the phantom is but mine was easy but its the stock bend but it cant be that hard.... [glow=red,2,300]JUST GIVE IT A SHOT[/glow] And the jets are even easier to do

It took me about 45 minutes to get mine on. The only reason it took that long is because i had to run to the hardware store 2 times to get bigger bolts.
It's not the hard to get on, Just use common sense. Take off the front fenders so you can see what your doing.
Don't pay them to put it on! It would cost $45 just to get that done. And if you have a dealership do that they will try and make you buy a bunch of extra stuff you don't need.
