don't drill them in there unless you know exactly what your going, you can easily mess up your cylinder.

by looking at all the cylinders that have them...it dont look like an extreme science...ive seen them all different shapes and sizes.all i see are the holes drilled next to the intake tract into the boost ports...dont seem too exotic if you ask me.

i know that much...but if i follow what macdizzy did on his blaster engine build, would that be ok..or not. i'm not too sure..but heres another good question. on my exhaust port...i bolted on my flange..there was about 1/4+ inch material around the flange(the exhaust outlet into the flange was smaller than the actaul header flange) i guess it would help to enlarge this area to mach the exhaust flange wouldnt it...i already smoothed out the intake side, "knifed" the center of the intake window, and smoothed all the aux ports and boost ports. so i would assume that enlarging the exaust port to flow more would help...wouldnt it?

ahhh no..Don't touch the exhaust port or the tranfers..If you don't know what your doing and properly measure how many mm's your raising the ports your can totally screw up your motor and your power band..its more complex than you think..

oh no no no...i'm not raising the port at all....not getting close to the cylinder sleeve!!!! what i did was match the cylinder casting near the manifold to perfectly match my exhaust manifold...i'm not changing anything on the sleeve...just cleaning and polishing things up a bit...
