i blew up my quad AGAIN. i am doin anothther top end rebuild...i'm thinking of going with a vitos 240 cylinder kit...my current mods are degree key, K&N with an outerwears airbox lid,boyeson reeds, pro circuit pipe and silencer,14 tooth front sprocket, +3.75 swingarm, 310 main jet and vitos custom needle,oil blockoff kit...i believe thats all....if anyone has a similar setup let me know how much power this is making....i dont know what hp i have right now so if ya have a ballpark figure of now and after 240 cyl kit that would kick ass...just let me know how this thing will run...and what size main jet should i start with being that i melted the exaust side of my .040 piston runnin a 310 main....thanks...if you dont mind send replies to holtzer1@fidmail.com or just do it here and i'll try to find it again

Ok with those mods you could have maybe 20HP-22HP Not for sure, after the ;D Vitos 240 kit you'll have 23-24HP..Yeh thats right
NO NO..don't even look at the vitos kit, I don't know how many times I tell people a day..The vitos kit is a waste of your damn money, it is ported to a very little extent which will give you no power..If a 240 kit is not ported you won't get any power but some torque..End of story..for 600 dollars your crazy..Buy another 240 kit..Buy Hollywooddirts, CPCustoms, just somebodys that is ported...lol.

If you going to save 600 for a bad kit, you might as well save $300 more for a better kit "ct sonic"  Or for $600 you could get a hollywood custom ported 240 which will also be much more powerful than the vitos. |

la sleeve makes a bad ass kit. they use a cr250 reed cage. it makes like 45 horse

ok...i'll check the hollywood dirt kit....i dont have a hole bunch of money to spend on the rebuild right now...sort of a work in progress....what mains are people using in their 240's?

one of my buddies has the la sleeve kit and the thing cuts rugs man. it keeps up (kind of) with his raptor with a few mods done to it.

my hwd stock bore stock bottem end dyno'd at 34 .9 at the rear tires and 29 lbs of torque! thats power...add 3-5 h/p to the crank....this is out of thier pd3 and 18cc head...ive had the vito's kit....my big will whoop it all day long! lololololololol the dyno sheet is on hwd main page...a banshee stock only pulled 27 on the dyno the same day.....i stand up wheelies in 4th gear no clutch...simple tug of the bars.....this is what i have right now.....hwd pd3 new generation porting 8 oz flywheel adj timming plate, nology complete ignition system...34 pj carb cfm airbox g3 reed system 18cc head...weisco ultra light piston.billet clutch basket...stock bore stock bottem end with 50+ hours on it and i only run amsoil dominator oil through it.....and to top off my package i run a cpi bigg bore pipe.....goes with hwd's work like peanut butter goes with jelly...lololol

If you dont ahve the money, the hwd bore kit should make similar power to xleonoxes. |

ill stick to my motor for now but after my project motor is done...hint hint...lololololololololololl. kawi...that ct will be a thing of the past...lets just say i have something up my sleeve....lmao

With a blaster with that kind of power you can run a 15t front sprocket and 38 rear..that would give you so much more top end and you'd still have stick torque and low end..You'd waste a raptor, even a piped one.. |
