the other day i finally got a chance to open my bike up in a field, i havent been able to do this since i got my pipe, big bore kit carb and reeds because of the snow, but it seemed to top out real quick in all the gears and then when i got in to 6th it seemed to have now power and it wasnt pulling at anymore then when i came down off the throttle is was knocking and idling real eraticly like it was out of fuel, so what do you all suggest, any comments would help thanks blster88guy

wow...i did that too..and thats why i'm rebuilding the top end...sounds like you fried the piston..i'd definitely check compression. as for everyone else..how long can you run in 6th gear wide open before you screw anything up...or isnt it a good idea to run it like that?

WOT in any gear is BAAAAAAAAAAAD. If your in 6th and travelling a long distance ie. road stay around half throttle.

Sounds like you have a lean fuel/air mixture. Pull the plug out and look at it.
