no problem, its really easy. i can do it by myself in about 10 minutes.
1. remove the carb 2. remove the bowl off the bottom of the carb, there are 4 screws. 3. the jet is right there sticking out of the carb now, use a 6mm wrench and remove it 4. put new jet in 5. put bowl back on 6. put carb back on
i suggest when u take the carb off, get a clean cloth and stick it in the part u removed the carb from so you dont get any dirt in there.
oh, u dont need to remove the carb the whole way. just take it off the intake boot and engine, and then u can take the screws out of the bowl.
u shouldnt need to change any other jets/needles, what does the number say on the bottom of your new jet? it should be a 250-280, i would think.
any more questions, just ask!

thanks, but, all u should need to do is to change your main jet. i told u how to do that. im not really sure about how to move the needle and change the pilot jet, but i dont think you should really need to do that. oh, and i think you should try a 280-290 jet with that pipe. i would get an air filter pretty soon after you get your pipe, too. but you shouldnt have to worry about the carb yet. are you going to get a big bore 240 kit or just bore it out to like .40 or .60 over? if you do get the big bore kit, then you should ask kurt or someone about the carb size, but it would most likely be a 35mm carb for a 240 bb kit. if you just bore it out a little bit, u dont need to get a larger carb, but if you are going to port and polish it and shave the head, then i would go with a 30mm carb
