alright. im going through my blaster. crank is shot and so is the top end. i am either going hotrod crank off ebay or a stock one. i was gunna go stroker crank but i just cant seem to find any prices or info on them. then i am putting a 240 big bore kit thats used but only about a year or 2 old. thats what im doing now and in a month or 2 i want to continue the performance mods. but my carb is stock. i have boyeson reeds and stock exhaust. i will probably bump the carb up to the 34mm carb from vito's and a pro circuit exhaust but for right now would it still have more power and everything if i just rejet the stock carb? if so what size main and pilot jets do i need for the big bore? what kind of power should i make? they say anywhere from 35 - 40 but im sure thats with all the other perf. mods i dont have yet. thanks soo much!

id say get a pipe and carb before u get the 240 kit

I would definetly get a carb and pipe before you get a 240. There is such a difference in power with and with out a pipe and silencer. I would worry about getting the pipe though first and then a carb. You can get a carb on ebay for super cheap.

well dude number 1, stroker cranks are in the PB store. get ahold of Diamond (kurt deals there products), shawn at snydermotorsports, www.snydermotorsports.net two best places for anything with a stroker...dont get any motor work till you have a pipe and a carb, its not worth anything if u dont....

Sounds like you putting the wagon in front of the horses. Rather than worring about the used 240 and stroker crank with limited monies. You should concentrate of repairing your bottom end and putting your motor together and in good running condition. Save your money and invest in a pipe/silencer.

bottum end is all back together. i used a wiseco stock stroke crank and ceramic bearings and new seals. as for top end instead of a big bore i actually bought a performance ported and polished cylinder that was dyno'd at 32hp with a 34mm carb and a pro circuit pipe and a prop 2 head from hdp. i then got a full fmf sst exhaust, i got a steal. it was 120 bucks for all of it. now all i need to do is get a bigger carb, bore the cylinder, piston is on its way now, and either buy a prop 2 head or just modify the stock head to get some more power. i have another quad so thats not a problem. i bought this quad for 300 bucks so i just wanna modify it and see what i can do. it kinda a winter project. i still have a couple months before i figured i would be finished. thanks for all your help guys!

Show me the dino chart....if your pushing 32 hp i'll buy green plastic...(would shoot self in foot first) if i was green then who would be orange? chad ? lmao, i have a stroker 200 national that is 32hp but u dont want a bigger carb, ithe biggest one i use is a 35 air striker, and thats wiht a big motor...any bigger than that would be retarded....but sounds great man
