ok i am confused wiht all this engine stuff. i am buying a blaster and heni get hte engine i want to mod it. i plan to get an exhaust and air filter first btu then i want to get a 240cc kit and have the engine ported and polished. will this give me a big gain in power? also what are theses stroker cranks and what do they do??
would it be possible to send my whole engine to a company and have them install a 240 kit and have them port and polish it and then send it back to me? if so how much do youn think this would cost.

Yea you could send your whole motor into a company and have them port and polish it, and do the 240 mod to it. You can look in PB's online store to see if they have any info in there. Also a bigger carb and reed valve would also add quite a bit of power before you got your motor work done. I don't really now to much about stroker cranks but i think it increases your compresion and your stroke. If you had these mod's done your motor would really rip! You would be pulling almost 50hp with those mod's, But it will also cost you around $900 for a 240 stroker motor. Look in the PB Store for some packages or Hetrick Racing also have some packages together. |
